Mekong Water Welcome! - Mid-September this year is the time for the Mekong Water airlines to sell tickets for the Vietnamese public. This is the third private airline in Vietnam would be the air bridge in the country.

According to VNA reporter on Tuesday (08/17/2010), Mekong Water will fly for the first time on October 10, 2010. According to the plan, the airline will use a Canadian-made aircraft, Bombardier CRJ 900. SkyWest aircraft leased from the United States that will berkonfigurasi 95 seats, including business and economics.

Meanwhile, the Mekong Air destinations are Da Nang, Nha Trang, Da Lat, and Phu Quoc. The planes departed from Main Airport Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Mekong Water Party has requested permission from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) to serve routes to Con Dao, Buon Ma Thuot, Hai Phong and Vinh from Ho Chi Minh City.

Mekong water company was founded in 2009 by Ha Long Investment and Development Company. Later, the airline will be headquartered at Phu Quoc Airport. Before Air Mekong, two private airlines are Vietnam Airlines and Indochina VietJet AirAsia.

In Vietnam, the initial cost of the airline business is about 26.3 million U.S. dollars for international air service. Then, if the company will open a local destination, must be available a minimum budget of 10.5 million U.S. dollars.
